so ya, i was wondering if anyone know any contemporary problems that are being addressed through the application od some aspect of science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
I already know DNA is one, but I can't think of any other ones. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Awesome ideas,
We are using this book as a supplement to our science lessons for third grade level home-schooled kids. Over a hundred pages of lesson sparking ideas from how to make an eardrum, to how to conduct heat, to gasses vs. solids vs. liquids, etc. Every page or two includes a hands on project/experiment with simple instructions, including diagrams. we look on the internet for teaching the foundation of the topic, then use the pictures, additional information and experiments to cap off the lesson on Freaky Friday. The back of the book covers how to write a report and the scientific method, and a glossary amongst other things. Great fun for students.

Raves from a science teacher!!!,
Being a science teacher, I was skeptical about buying this book. I must say that I was so enthused by it when I received and read over it that I am buying a couple more for friends. NO! It isn’t full of rocket science, but what it does have are simple experiments that have some wow factor for young kids. Each section has small bits of science facts (digestible -for kids) to link to the experiment. If you have an elementary or middle school child in your family, this is a great gift!!!

Science Fair Helper,
Book was recommended by my son’s teacher. It was a huge help in helping us decide what to do that was grade appropriate. Great pictures, scientific explanations that kid’s can understand.
